BNI breakfast briefing in the morning

Brexit, Trump and the housing crisis are likely topics for Economist Jim Power, who has been invited to speak at a breakfast briefing organised by the BNI Breffni Chapter.

Jim Power is chief economist with the Bank of Ireland and the Friends First Group, as well as a regular columnist with Sunday Business Post and the Irish Examiner.

Mr Power will speak for about half an hour and other topics to be covered include possible labour shortages and the current world economy. The breakfast briefing will begin at 7am in Hotel Kilmore this morning (Wednesday) May 31.

Michael Lynch of Flynn and Lynch Life, Pensions and Investments in Longford Town invited Jim Power to speak at the at this breakfast event, which is open to the public. Mr Lynch who has been a member of the BNI Breffni Chapter for the past six years says that Jim Power is well placed to give an insight into what line the Government is likely to take in terms of a hard or soft Border in the Brexit negotiations.
