Meeting to brighten up Cavan Town's paint scheme

Brightening up Cavan town is the impetus behind an information evening set to take place this Thursday. The Cavan Town Paint Scheme meeting takes place this Thursday, (March 5) at 6.30pm in the Events Space at Johnston Central Library, Farnham St.
The event is co-hosted by Cavan County council and Cavan Town Team. Cavan Town Teams is a group of volunteers who work together to develop a vision and plan for the county town. It is one of three in the county. The Town Team encourage the local communities to energise and reinvigorate the towns with the support of the Local Authority, Cavan Leader and other key agencies and service providers.
The town teams will take responsibility for the preparation and implementation of Town Rejuvenation plans. Led by people who are active in business and community life within the town, they work in partnership with retailers, consumers, citizens, local communities and the local authority to devise, promote and deliver a vision for their town.
