Bridget Boylan (nee Dempsey) Drumeagle, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan. Monday, May 18th (peacefully) at home. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Eamonn, daughters Marie, Rosaleen, Fiona and Regina, son Eamonn, sister May, brother-in-law Mossie, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Bridget's Funeral will be private to family in line with the current Government and HSE guidelines. Remains will leave her home on Thursday (21st) at 10.30am arriving at St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Pat Fay (Drumbannon, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan) Tuesday May 19th, 2020 – passed away peacefully at home in the care of his family and the palliative care team, Cavan. Predeceased by his beloved wife Teresa, parents James (Jemmy) & Margaret and brother John. He will be sadly missed by his daughters & son, Annette, Patricia & Declan; by sons in-law and daughter in-law, Vincent, David & Clare; by his devoted grandchildren, Lorna, Niall & Glen, Megan, Devlin, Kyle & Adam and Grace & Conal and by his great-grandchildren Caolán & Rían. Also sadly missed by his sisters, Bridie & Anna, brothers Jimmy, Brendan & Matt, by Teresa’s sister Phil and extended family & friends.

James(Jimmy) Maguire, London & formerly Cullighan, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. May 5th 2020 in London.

Mallor Piho, 64 Glaslough Street, Monaghan. Died suddenly on Saturday, 16th May. Born in Estonia. Mallor was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and partner and will always be remembered.

Cremation will take place privately tomorrow, Wednesday, 20th May. Ashes will be brought to Estonia at a later date for a family ceremony. Donations, if desired, to Cuan Mhuire, Ballybay C/O Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale.

John Harten

Marahill, Crossdoney, Cavan

John Harten, Marahill, Crossdoney, County Cavan, Monday 18th May 2020, suddenly at Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan. John, pre-deceased by his brother Pat, sisters Molly (Fitzpatrick), Kay (Kiernan) and Josephine. Very deeply regretted by his brother Cathal, sister Rosaleen (Keegan), Bailieborough, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.

Due to current government and HSE restrictions, a private funeral for John will take place at 12pm on Wednesday 20th May in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra, for immediate family only, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. John's final journey to St. Brigid's Church will take him past his home house in Marahill.

A Memorial Mass celebrating John's life will take place at a later date.

Formerly of Ture, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by his brother Phil(Birmingham) and Michael(Clones). Joey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Anne-Marie and his 5 children, sister Anna (McDermott - Clones), brothers Frank (Crossbane, Newbliss), Kevin (Clones), Seamus (Ture).

Sheila McSkeane (née Traynor)

Clontarf, Dublin / Clontibret, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sheila Carolina McSkeane (née Traynor) Monday, May 18th, of Dublin and Glasgow, peacefully, in her 92nd year, independent and feisty to the end, in the loving care of Our Lady's Ward, Mater Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Peter (formerly Gallagh, Clontibret, Co.Monaghan and Glasgow). Predeceased by her brothers Paddy, Donnie and Bennie; she will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Elizabeth, her Monaghan cousins, her wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of devoted friends.

Shelia's funeral cortège, will travel from Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan on Wednesday afternoon, at 1:30pm to arrive at St Mary's Cemetery, Clontibret for private burial in keeping with Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings.
