Dry but cloudy weather forecast

From Costa del Cavan back to cloudy and overcast, while set remain largely dry, showers are expected to arrive later in the day.

Feeling fresher than recent days with occasionally moderate northerly breezes, highest temperatures will range from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius.

However, rainfall will arrive into west and northwest counties tonight, becoming rather cool with lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

Tomorrow will again be a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, though most areas will be dry in the evening. Highest temperatures 12 to 15 degrees.

The outlook then for the rest of the week is a continuation of mixed conditions in into Friday and much of the weekend, which will struggle to repeat the welcomed heat from last Bank Holiday weekend.
