The death has occurred of Una Greene (nee Shields). Una, wife of her late and always beloved husband Noel, formerly of Greene's Pharmacy, peacefully, in the loving care of her nieces, nephews, friends and staff at St Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia. Deeply loved, deservedly and sadly regretted by her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Removal from Briody's Funeral Home, Killnaleck, on Tuesday 30th to St Joseph's Church, Balllyjamesduff, via Granard St Main St (11.50am) for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Joseph's Cemetery, Oldcastle Rd.

Una's funeral will be private to family and friends, in accordance with H.S.E. and Government guidelines.

Stanley Heaslip

Glebe House, Denmore, Carrickaboy, Cavan

Stanley Heaslip, Glebe House, Denmore, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan, Sunday June 28th, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Beloved husband of Iris and dear father of Desmond, Christine and Lesley. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, daughter in law Ruth, son in law Brian, grandchildren Glenn, Melissa, Aaron, Danielle, Stephen, Neville, Trevor, Stuart and Andrew, sister Ruth Dobson (Laytown), nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Monday from 3pm until 5pm and Tuesday from 12 midday until 1.45pm with removal to Denn Parish Church, to arrive for Funeral service at 2.30pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining church grounds. House Private, please.

Due to government and HSE regulations, Stanley's funeral sevice and burial will be restricted, due to social distancing. Attendance in the Church will be restricted to family only, please and social distancing observed in church grounds, please. Teresa Mc Cabe (née O' Brien)

Benwilt, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Teresa Mc Cabe (née O’Brien) Benwilt, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, June 28th 2020, in her 90th year. Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Packie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; sons Martin and Gerard, daughters Elish and Breege, daughters-in-law Viola and Alice, sons-in-law Colm and Peter, her adored 11 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Maura Mc Kiernan, Drumhose, Kill, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, June 27th 2020, peacefully, surrounded by her family at Cavan General Hospital,Cavan. Darling daughter of Jim and Rosemary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, brother Paul, sister Aoife, niece Mary Kate, brother-in-law Damien, sister-in-law Sophie, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

James McCabe, Drumryan, Cavan, Sunday June 28th, 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at St. Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan. Sadly missed by his wife and friend Mary, his family Theresa, Sean, Gerry, Kate, Patrick and Noeleen, daughters in law Geraldine and Nora, sons in law Seamus and Paul, his adored grandchildren, brothers Edmund, Vincent, Ciarán, P.J., Gerry and sister Bernie, brother in law Noel, nephews, nieces, all his relatives and many friends.

Removal from the home of his son Sean and daughter in law Geraldine, Drumryan, on Tuesday morning to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry. Due to Government and HSE regulations, James' Funeral will be private to family, please.

Formerely of Baugh, Cootehill. Predeceased by his parents Ellen and Tommy and his brother PJ. Sunday June 28th, peacefully at The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters Carmel and Catherine, sisters Chrissie and Mary, brother-in-law Paul, sisters-in-law Ann, Mary, Elizabeth, Patricia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Monday from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Clifferna, for Funeral Mass at 11am, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Tuesday. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to The Oncology Unit, Cavan General Hospital.

The death has occurred of Teresa McConnon (née Garland), Blackstaff, Inniskeen, peacefully, in Castleross Retirement Village. Predeceased by her husband James (Jim) and son Thomas. Lovingly remembered by her son Seamus and daughter Martina, brother Bernard, daughter in law, son in law, sister in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

Reposing at Magees funeral home tomorrow Monday from 5 to 7 pm.

Removal to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, for 12 noon requiem Mass on Tuesday afternoon and burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen.

A private funeral will take place, due to government advice regarding public gatherings.

Mary McGuinness (née McPhillips)

Mary McGuinness (nee McPhillips) St. Martin’s, 24 Loch Mor Avenue, Ballybay, Co Monaghan. Predeceased by her husband John, died 28th June 2020, peacefully, at the residence of her daughter and son in law, Brid and John Rutledge, Edenaneane, Ballybay, Co Monaghan. Sadly missed by her children Geraldine, Bríd and Sean and their partners, Vikki, John and Maureen, her brother Pat and sister Bridgie. Predeceased by her brother Tom and sisters Roseanne and Katie. Missed by her cherised grandchildren and their partners Donna and Colin, Jonathan and Veronika, Kerri and Darren, Christopher and Grainne, Evan and Genevieve and Shane and Grainne, her great-grandchildren Eoghán, Seanán, Ruán, Daíre and Faolán, extended family and large circle of friends.

Funeral cortège will arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, on Tuesday, 30th June, via her late residence, 24 Loch Mor Avenue, for 12 noon funeral Mass. A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding Covid-19 restrictions.

Maura Mullen (née Connolly)

Cappog, Ballinode, Monaghan / Smithborough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Maura Mullen (née Connolly) Cappog, Ballinode, Co. Monaghan, formerly Aughnacloy, Smithboro, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 27th June, peacefully, at The Mater Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Maura will be sadly missed by her loving husband Martin, sons James and John her beloved parents John and Eilish, sisters Margaret, Ann, Kathleen, Josephine, Elizabeth, brothers Patrick, Martin, sister-in-laws Margaret-Anne, Catherine, Marion, brother-in-laws Gerard, Tom, Seamus, Padraig, Seamus, Seánie, nieces, nephews and extended relatives and friends.

House strictly private please – immediate family only.

In line with guidelines issued by the government and the HSE, Maura's remains will leave her residence at 10am to arrive at St Mary's Church, Urbleshanney, Scotstown for 11am Funeral Mass. Please note that Maura's funeral mass will be celebrated privately.
