George Farrelly

Springfield, Philadelphia, Virginia, Cavan

George Farrelly, Springfield, Philadelphia and late of Cranadillon, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Wednesday June 24, Peacefully.

Sadly missed by his wife Maureen, children Georgina, Maureen, James, George Junior, Nine grandchildren. Siblings, Sarah Travers of Havertown, PA, Thomas Farrelly of Rosemont, PA, James Farrelly of Castlerahan, Co. Cavan, Rita Chambers of Larne, Co. Antrim, Rose Crofton of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, Sister-in-law, Martha Farrelly of Bryn Mawr, PA. He is preceded in death by his brother, Peter Farrelly; Sisters Mary Desmond, Sister Bridget Farrelly, R.S.M., Anna Farrelly, and his grandson, Justin Lall.

A Memorial Mass will take place for George at a later date.

Tony McGovern

Maple Drive, Boyle, Roscommon / Swanlinbar, Cavan

The death has occurred of Tony McGovern, Maple Drive, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formery of Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan, peacefully, on Monday 29th of June, at his home. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marian, his children Mark, Tina, Tracy, Declan and Andrea, sons in law Damien and James, daughters in law Emma and Anne and his much loved grandchildren, his sisters Eileen Brennan and Theresa Mc Govern, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Tony's funeral Mass will take place in St Joseph's Church, Boyle, on Wednesday, 1st of July, at 11am with burial afterwards in Assylynn Cemetery, Boyle. Due to the current restrictions and adhering to the government guidelines for Covid-19, the Mass will be limited to family and close friends. The funeral Mass will be live from the webcam on www.boyleparish.ie.

Ann Duffy (née McManus)

York Street, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ann Duffy, York Street, Castleblayney, 29th of June 2020. Peacefully, at her son Ciarán's residence. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, parents Kevin and Sarah, her brothers Tommy and Kevin and grandchildren Lucia and Mirrin. Deeply regretted, much loved mother to Ciarán and Padraig. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sister Rose, brothers Martin, Peter, Gerard and Paul, daughter in law Sonya, Ciarán's partner Sonija, grandchildren Matthew, Liam, Oliver, Violet, Lochlann and Tabitha, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, Paula, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.
