National forecaster Met Eireann is reporting that outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the west and northwest will spread eastwards across the province during the morning.

“It will be rather cool, with highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, in mostly moderate westerly winds.”

They add that rain will become “persistent” over Ulster and north Leinster through the afternoon, before clearing from the west during the evening.

“Winds will be mostly moderate westerly, fresh on Atlantic coasts.”
