Council approve six-house development in Butlersbridge

Cavan County Council has granted conditional approval for the building of six new houses in Butlersbridge.

RDA Contracts Ltd successfully applied for permission to build six storey and a half detached five-bed houses. The application covers the design considerations for the entrances, footpath, connect to existing foul sewer, surface water sewer, water main, landscaping, boundary treatments and all associated works.

The houses are to be built in an existing development at Kilnaglare Upper, Butlersbridge.

The local authority approved the application subject to 18 conditions. The council's planning office received the application in November of last year and concluded the planning process this week.

Four parties made submissions to the local authority on the application, as well as representations from Irish Water Planning Notification.

The reservations outlined included the number of houses in the development, the size of the houses, parking considerations and the effect construction would have on existing buildings.
