Paddy Bergin

Ballyhaise, Cavan

The death has occurred of Paddy Bergin, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, peacefully at his residence on Friday, July 31st 2020. Predeceased by brothers Larry and Mike, sisters Anna and Katie and partner Frances. Deeply regretted by his daughter Kathleen (New York) son Brendan (New York) and brother Jimmy (New York). Paddy will be sadly missed by his son, daughter, brother, his nephew Patrick, all his nieces, nephews, his grandchildren, also Alison and Mickey Lee, neighbours and many friends.

May he rest in peace

Funeral will leave from his home on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Church, arriving for private Family Funeral Mass at 11am. All those who would have attended the Funeral under different circumstances are invited to stand along the road to the Church, observing social distancing of 2 metres at all times and all are invited to leave their messages of sympathy for the family on the Condolence section at the end of this page. Paddy's family would like to thank you all for your understanding and co operation at this sad time.

House, church and burial will be private to family and close friends please.

Brenda Dempsey

The death has occurred of Brenda Dempsey 31 Castleross Crescent, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, formerly Dunmakenna, Lisnalong, Co. Monaghan. Friday 31st July 2020 peacefully in the loving care of her family at Beaumont Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by her loving father Brian and brother Barry. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her partner Sean Mc Caughey, devoted mother to her loving children, daughter Tara, son Liam, her loving mother Pauline, brothers Peter and Cathal, sisters Grainne, Diane and Dympna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home 31 Castleross Crescent, Baldoyle, Dublin, Sunday evening. Removal Monday to her mother’s residence at Dunmakenna, Lisnalong, Co. Monaghan to repose.

Due to continued restrictions on public gathering Brenda’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and close friends with numbers restricted to 50 people. Funeral cortege will leave her mother’s residence on Tuesday at 1.15 o’clock to arrive at St Mary’s Church Latton for 2 o’clock funeral Mass and afterwards cortege will travel via Dunmakenna, Cootehill and onto Lakelands Crematorium for private cremation. Roseanne McKenna (née Lennon)

Garrybawn, Latton, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Roseanne McKenna, nee Lennon, Garrybawn, Latton, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, Saturday 1st August peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Hugh and her infant daughter Rosemarie. Deeply missed by her sons Gerard and P.J and her daughters Betty, Pauline, Noeleen and Fiona, her daughter in law Deena and her sons in law Johnjoe, Mickey, Pat and Colm, her sister Maureen (London) and her 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and her extended family & friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Due to government advice & HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place for immediate family.

The funeral cortege will leave her home on Monday, 3rd August, at 11.30am to arrive at 12 noon in Saint Mary's Church, Latton for funeral Mass. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
