The death has occurred of Mary Cahill (nee Costello), Edenburt, Virginia, Co. Cavan and formerly Darragh, Ennis, Co. Clare, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, 2 August 2020.

Predeceased by her sisters Fionnuala, Una and Olive.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Peter and her sons and daughters Thomas, Bernadette, Ciaran, Margaret Ann and Eamon.

Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, sons and daughters, her brothers Pat and Mike, her sisters Angela, Theresa and Lourda, daughters in law Aoife, Melanie and Denise, brothers in law Michael and Benny, sisters in law Theresa and Mary, her adored grandchildren Savannah, Kaiden and C.J, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home until removal on Tuesday morning arriving to St. Matthew's Church, Maghera for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

In compliance with current Government guidelines and HSE guidelines, please observe Covid 19 restrictions and ensure social distancing. Up to 50 people can attend the Funeral Mass, provided that public health advice is adhered to.

Dave Farrington, Coolbawn, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and formerly Castleknock, Co. Dublin, Saturday, August 1st, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St Christopher's Hospice, Cavan, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Gerardine and dear father of Kevin and Hannah (McCormack), treasured grandad to Carl, Aoife, Niamh, Michael and Rosie. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, mother Norma, son in law Michael, daughter in law, Aisling, brother Steve, sister Sue, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Service of thanksgiving for Dave's life on Thursday, August 6th, at 12 noon at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Due to government and HSE regulations, Dave's funeral service and cremation will be restricted to family only, please.

Kathleen Finnegan (née Smith)

Curkish, Bailieborough, Cavan

Kathleen Finnegan (nee Smith), Curkish Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 2 August, 2020.

Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John. Cherished mother of Maria and Brenda.

She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her son in law Ed, grandchildren Sean, David, Kathleen, E.J, John Paul and Raymond, great-grandchildren Elijah, Oscar, Carmen and Clark, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Due to current government guidelines, Kathleen's funeral will be private to family only, please.

The funeral procession will leave Clarke's Funeral Home at 10.40am on Tuesday to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral Mass at 11am (for those who want to show their respects in a socially distant manner along the route).

Burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Bailieborough Cancer Fund c/o Clarke's Funeral Home.

Bea Reilly (née McGovern)

Blacksmiths Cross, Laragh, Stradone, Cavan / Cootehill, Cavan

Formerly of Moneycass, Tullyco, Cootehill, Co Cavan.

Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital.

Loving wife of the late Jim.

Deeply regretted by Anthony, Gerard, Valerie and Keith, sadly missed by her brother John, sister Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her sister-in-law Bernadette McGovern, Moneycass, Tullyco, until removal on Tuesday to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Carrickallen, Mt Lodge, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to ongoing Government and HSE Guidelines, the house and funeral is private to family, friends and neighbours. Social distancing must be adhered to at all times.

Thomas Mulligan

Larkfield, Dring, Longford

Thomas David Mulligan of Woodlawn, Bronx, New York, formerly Larkfield Dring Co Longford, passed away on Sunday July 26th, 2020. He was 39 years old.

Thomas was born to Thomas and Rose Mulligan of Larkfield Dring Co Longford. He was raised in Mullinalaghta Co Longford where he attended St Columba's National School and Ardschoil Padraig Granard.

Thomas loved playing Rugby & Gaelic Football. He also received medals for draughts while attending secondary school. He then began working for the forestry in Ireland. He loved his job, but Tom had bigger plans and moved to the Bronx New York in August 2001.

He lived in Woodlawn while starting a career as a carpenter. After working for various construction companies he joined local 18A and most recently local 79.

In 2006 Tom met the love of his life, Tara Kenneally and they married in 2012.

In his spare time , Tom loved to play pool, darts, listen to music, travel with his wife exploring various food offerings & bringing to life his wife's ideas for their home.

Tom will be remembered as a big hearted, hard-working gentleman. He was caring, generous and had a great sense of humour.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Tara, his mother Rose, his brother Sean, his sisters Rosaleen and Teresa, his nephews, nieces, in-law's, family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father Thomas and his brother Vincent.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave Pelham, NY 10803 Monday, August 3, 2020 from 2 PM-6 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Barnabas Church 409 E. 241 St Bronx, NY 10470 at 9:30 AM on Tuesday August 4, 2020.

Cremation will be private.

A memorial mass will be held for Thomas in St. Columba`s Church, Mullinalaghta at a later date.

In accordance with Government Covid 19 guidelines, family home is private please.
