Drogheda, Louth / Cavan / Limerick

Cape Town, South Africa and formerly of Drogheda and Cavan. Peacefully at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Somerset West.

Beloved husband of the Late Mary McAdam, née Reid (formerly of Limerick)

Dearest father of Russell, Michele Grey (RSA) and Sandra Moore (UK).

Loving brother of Bernard, Mickey, Rachel and of the late Mary (Holden), Paddy and Eamon. Son of the late Rose Anne and Joseph. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers, nieces & nephews.

Funeral and cremation to take place on Saturday (August 8th) in Somerset West, Cape Town.

Josephine Sheridan (née McCabe)

Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Cavan

Josephine died peacefully in her 94th year surrounded by her loving family at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband John T. Sadly missed by her loving children Packie, Terry, John V. Mary Margaret, Bridget, Anne, Gerard, Josephine and Thomas, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Removal from her home on Friday morning arriving Our Lady of Lourdes Church Mullahoran for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. ( Mass can be viewed on Patrick Hughes facebook page. ) Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

In compliance with government and H. S. E. guidelines the Funeral Mass and house is private.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Castlemanor residence comfort fund c/o the undertaker or any family member.

Corkimmons, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Pat McDermott, Corkimmons, Clones, Co Monaghan, Wednesday, 5th August, 2020. Predeceased by his brother Dermot. Cherished husband of Maura and adored father of Patrica (Paddy, Ballinode), Sinead (Niall Treanor, Mullan Village) and son Gary (Zara, Belleek). Pat will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren Sky, Levi, Zack, Martha and Joni, his sister Philomena (Knockatallan), brothers Michael (Clones), Brendan (Scotshouse), Jimmy (Corkimmons), Eoin (Corkimmons), Eddie (England), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Pat's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends in St Mary's Chapel, Ture, on Friday at 11am, followed by burial, with numbers restricted to 50 people. House private, please.

The death has occurred of Jimmy Courtney. Shercock Road, Carrickmacross. 5th August 2020. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Margaret, daughters Marian (McEneaney), Deborah (Eakin) and Fiona, sons Raymond and Barry, sons-in-law Tom & Gerry, daughters-in-law Michelle & Nicola, his adored grandchildren, his sisters Marie, Bernie & Kathleen and his brothers Paddy, Eamon, Michael and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Jimmy's Funeral Mass will take place privately for family and close friends only in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, on Friday, 7th August, at 11am, followed by private burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. Celia Geoghegan late of Central Hotel and Park House Castleblayney Co. Monaghan, In her 94th year died on the 5th of August 2020 peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Creevy House, Castleross Nursing Home Carrickmacross .Deeply regretted by her Nephews, Nieces, Sister-in-law Mai, relatives and staff in Castleross.

Rest in Peace.

Removal from Deerys Funeral Home Carrickmaccross on Friday 7th August at 12.30pm to arrive at St Mary's Church Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Funeral Mass and Burial will be as per HSE and Government regulations.

The death has occurred of Gene Murphy, 36 Oliver Plunket Park, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, who died on August 4th, 2020. Former member of the 27th Battalion Castleblayney. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia, grandson Jody, brothers Kevin and William, sister Christine, Deeply regretted and much loved father of Fiona, Cathie and James, Fiona's partner Emmett, sister Angela, brothers Gabriel, Brendan, John, Gerald, Stephen and Robert, grandchildren Shannen and partner Eoghan, Shauna and partner Eoin, Brian, Tyler and Teegan, nieces and nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence from 5:30pm today, Wednesday, until removal on Friday morning at 10.25am. Funeral cortège leaving, on foot, to arrive at St Mary's Church, Castleblayney, for funeral Mass at 11am, burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
