Josh McClorey releases debut solo track

Cavan musician Josh McClorey has launched his solo career with the release of a new track titled 'Everything was Easy'.

“Buzzing with the response to Everything Was Easy,” he tweeted this afternoon with regard to the already glowing reviews received since the song first went online in the past 24-hours.

The new track is accompanied too by a video directed by the award winning director Luke Cutforth.

'Everything was Easy' follows the release by ex-Strypes guitarist Josh's cover of The Beatles’ classic ‘Across The Universe’ under his side-project YABOYA back in May.

Its been a busy 12 months for the local music star who, after upping sticks and moving to London in the hope of progressing his music career, has been involved in collaborations with the likes of Kodaline, as well as maintaining a close working relationship with Modfather Paul Weller.

Only last October did Weller - The Jam (1976–1982) and The Style Council (1983–1989) - invite Josh to play on his 15th solo record ‘On Sunset’.
