Anthony Clerkin

Carnaville, Tierworker, Kells, Meath / Tierworker, Cavan

Anthony Clerkin, Carnaville, Tierworker, Kells, Co. Meath, died 30 September 2020, peacefully at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving sons Anthony and Eugene and daughter Marie, grandchildren and especially Conrad, brothers Patsy and Oliver, sister Bridie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Due to current government guidelines, Tony's Funeral will be private to family and friends only. The funeral procession will leave his home Saturday morning at 12.30 pm to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Newcastle for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Moynalty Cemetery.

Kathleen Doughty (née Moran)

Carn, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Kathleen passed away, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital (Thursday) in the loving care of her family and nursing staff. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and daughter in law Bridie. Sadly missed by her loving son Patrick (Pat), grandchildren, relatives and friends.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at her late residence on Friday and Saturday from 6pm until 9pm to family, neighbours and close friends.

Removal on Sunday, 4th Oct, to St Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff, for Funeral Mass at 3pm, followed by burial in new cemetery.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Government and HSE guidelines, Kathleen's funeral will be private to family, neighbours and close friends.

Daniel P. (Danny) Fay

Hodson Bay, Athlone, Roscommon / Cootehill, Cavan / Athlone, Westmeath

Peacefully at home on Thursday 1st October 2020. Hodson Bay, Athlone and formerly of Lislea, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving son John and his partner Lupita, grandchildren Lúgh and Catríona, brothers C.J. and Tommy, sister Phyllis (Kilduff), in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Kieran (Speedy) Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick Cottage, Bawnboy, Cavan / Belfast, Antrim

September 28th, suddenly. Predeceased by his parents, Terence and Patricia, also his sister Ailish and brother Pat. Sadly missed by his sisters Roisin and Briege his brothers Liam, Terence and Michael, his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Kieran's Funeral Mass will take place in St Mogue's Church, Bawnboy on Friday, 2nd of October, at 12 noon followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium at 2pm.

Please note, in accordance with public health guidelines, the funeral and cremation will be private gatherings for family and close friends only.

Ivan Stronge, Tawlaught, Ballyheelan, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Wednesday September 30th (suddenly) at Virginia Health Care Centre. Sadly missed by his sisters; Jean, Phyllis and Lavinia, his brothers-in-law; Robert, Tim and George (deceased) nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours and friends.

Resting at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Friday (Oct 2nd) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Funeral Service on Saturday (3rd) in St. Paul's Church, Ballymachugh at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Ballymachugh Parish Church c/o any family member.

Brigid Walshe, Carrickmore, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan. 30th September 2020, predeceased by her husband Patrick and baby son Thomas, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her sons Martin, Noel and John, daughters Bernadette, Patria, Verona and Roisin, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence today Thursday from 4,00 to 8.00pm and on Friday from 4.00 to 8.00pm, Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm in St.Mary's Church, Ballyhaise, burial immediately afterwards in Castletara Cemetery. Due to government and HSE regulations Brigid's Funeral Mass will be private to family only.

Seamus (James) Lavelle

Glenyhorn, Clontibret, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Seamus (James) Lavelle, Glenyhorn, Clontibret, Co. Monaghan, Thursday, October 1st, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Seamus, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his wife Mona, sons Eamon (Moyotra), Noel (Castleshane) and Kieran (Fedoo), daughters Catriona (Killaloe), Mary (Blessington) and Monica (Austin, Texas), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Seamus will repose at his residence amongst family only. His funeral cortège will leave from the family home (driving turning left) on Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Clontibret, for Funeral Mass at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Seamus’ Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.
