‘Men on the Move’ comes to Arva, Cavan and Mullagh

Cavan Sports Partnership has announced details of a new ‘Men on the Move’ programme coming to Arva, Cavan Town and Mullagh.

Men on the Move is an outdoor physical activity programme aimed at adult men, to support them to become active, have fun and improve their fitness levels. It involves twice-weekly structured physical activity sessions over 10 weeks that are led by a qualified instructor to a level and pace that suits the participants.

The programmes in each area start Tuesday, October 6, for 10 weeks.

In Arva, the programme will run from 8-9pm at Arva GAA Grounds, and will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at same the time and venue.

In Cavan Town, ‘Men on the Move’ will take place from 8-9pm at Terry Coyle Park, Cavan Gaels GFC Ground and continue every Tuesday and Thursday at same time and venue.

In Mullagh, the programme will take place from 8-9pm at Edwin Carolan Community Park, Mullagh. Programme runs every Tuesday and Thursday, again at the same time and venue.

Men on the Move, which is funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE), aims to improve the physical fitness, weight and general health and lives of the men who participate.
