Early showers make way for dryer conditions

Any mist or showers breaking across the region early in the morning are expected to clear gradually throughout the day with brighter spells developing in the afternoon.

“Cloud will thicken in the evening ahead of some showery rain moving in from the south. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees Celsius,” according to national forecaster, Met Eireann.

The outlook for the week is that low pressure will likely dominate throughout the coming week. This will see a significant shift from benign to more generally unsettled conditions by the end of Sunday, with spells of wet and sometimes windy weather.
