Blustery day with scattered showers

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first, Met Eireann forecasts for Ulster today. This rain will clear away to the east this morning and will be followed by scattered showers and sunny spells. Some showers will be heavy with a risk of hail and isolated thunderstorms. A blustery day with moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, strong near coasts. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.

Tonight will be blustery with scattered showers in west Ulster, some heavy with a risk of hail and isolated thunderstorms. Showers will be more isolated further east. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty south to southwest winds, strong around the coast.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a cool and blustery day with sunny spells and showers. The showers, some of them heavy and prolonged with hail and isolated thunderstorms, will mostly affect west Ulster during the morning, but will extend to all areas during the afternoon. Moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly winds will persist and will be strong near coasts. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.
