Cavan venue to host Meath-Derry camogie tie

Meath will play Derry in the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship quarter-final at Templeport St Aidan’s GAA in Cavan on Sunday at 1.30pm.

Meath squandered a chance of making it directly to the last four when they delivered a disappointing performance against Antrim on Saturday.

Meath lost out by four points (2-9 to 1-16) against the Antrim women and will now face into the Quarter-Final 2 game against Derry.

The Ulster side defeated Kildare by 1-15 to 0-5 in a Group B (losers group) encounter to get back into contention.

It appears that if Meath can get through this tie, they will again face Antrim, this time in the semi-final.

The Cavan venue is located between Ballyconnell and Swanlinbar.
