Shock and outrage has been expressed after a sensory garden designed to be accessible by persons of all abilities, was vandalised last week.

The new sensory garden, which had yet to be officially opened, and located adjacent to the Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff, was damaged overnight on November 9-10.

Gardaí are now be investigating the matter.
