Breaking

Cavan county board have poured cold water on talk of objecting to playing their upcoming All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin at Croke Park.

The board have, moments ago, issued a statement quashing speculation and stating that they are "honoured" to fulfil the fixture as set at HQ.

"Cavan Co Board would like to clarify that they absolutely and categorically have never considered, nor, have they any intention of applying for a venue change for the upcoming All-Ireland Semi Final Fixture," the statement reads

"We are honoured and look forward to playing the All Ireland Semi Final as is fixed by the CCC."
