Check the register

Cavan County Council is advising prospective voters to check the register to ensure they are eligible to vote. The Draft Register of Electors was published on November 1 and it can be checked online at www.checktheregister.ie up until today November 25.

It’s also on display at CCC’s offices and at your local Garda stations, libraries and post offices. The local authority has asked people to check that their name and address are present and correct online.

In order to vote, you must ensure that your details on the electoral register are correct. If you want to check the register to make sure that your details are correct go to www.checktheregister.ie

Anyone not on the register by today can have their name added to the supplemental register. Regardless of previous enquiries made about the Register, it is important that voters check the Live Register and to ensure details are correct. If you have any further questions or queries about your right to vote, you can contact by email at register@cavancoco.ie
