Máire Clements (née Leonard)

Kilquilly, Oldcastle Road, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan / Ballybay, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Máire Clements (nee Leonard), Kilquilly, Oldcastle Road, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly Ballybay and Dublin, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on 5 December 2020. Predeceased by her parents Anastasia and Jim. Much loved wife and mother. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Shannon, her adored daughter Sophia, her twin sister Suzanne,sisters Róis and Laura and her brother James. Much loved daughter in law of Clem and Doris. Sadly missed by her brothers in law Jamal, Barry and Andrew, sister in law Tara, nieces, nephews, cousins, her aunts and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Matthew's Funeral Home ( A82YV58) Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Due to Government and HSE restrictions, Máire’s Funeral Service will be celebrated in the presence of her family and friends on Tuesday at 1 o'clock in Matthews Funeral Home, followed by private cremation. Those who would like to attend but cannot do so, can leave a personal message for the family in the condolence section below.

Friends are welcome to line the avenue at the Funeral Home and roadside to pay their final tribute to Máire and are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines and keep safe. The Clements family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this time.

Máire’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and dedication of all who looked after her, and in particular the Oncology Department Of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, Meath Palliative Care Team and the Irish Cancer Society and her brother in law Jamal. Your exceptional care, support, strength and attention will never be forgotten.

Corduff, Ballinagh, Cavan

Patsy McGlynn, Corduff, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and formerly Ennybegs, Co Longford, Saturday, Dec. 5th, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the management, nurses and staff of the Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, Beloved husband of the late Rose. Sadly missed by his son Noel, daughter in law Lorraine, grandchildren, Page, Noelle and Jack, nephew Sean, niece Liz and her husband David, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Monday from 6.00pm until 7.30pm for family and neighbours. Removal on Tuesday at 11.30am to St Michael's Church, Potahee, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held.

Sinead O'Reilly

Dundrum, Dublin / Drumalee, Cavan

Sinead O’Reilly of Dundrum and Drumalee, County Cavan and late of Dominican College, Griffith Avenue. Suddenly but peacefully at St. James’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Morgan Butler and amazing mother to Belle and Georgie, cherished daughter of Johnny and Phyl, adored sister of Pauline, Noel and Deirdre, and dearest sister-in-law to Phil, Jill and Karl.Sinead will be hugely missed by her husband, children, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, colleagues, students and all who knew and loved her.

The death has occurred of Conor O’Reilly, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 5th December, peacefully, at Oakview Private Nursing Home, Belturbet. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains will leave Lawlor’s Funeral Home this evening, Sunday, at 6.30pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Chruch, Milltown (H14 K31) for 7 o’ clock. Funeral Mass on Monday, 7th December, at 2pm followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Predeceased by her parents James & Maria, brothers Hughie & Seamie, sister Gertie & her beloved daughter Cáit. Beloved wife of Tommie & devoted mother of Sinead, Ciara, Niamh & Tomás. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons in law Chris, Nauman & Jerome & daughter in law Sandra, her sister Cathy (New York), her adored grandchildren Shauna, Tom, Sara, Kiran, Grace, Jane, Beth, Emma & Charlie, her nephews, nieces, all her relations & many friends.

Removal from her home on Tuesday morning at 11 am to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial will take place afterwards in Cullies Cemetery. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Predeceased by her brother Patrick & sister Christina Mc Kenna. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, Philomena, Ita, Christina, Tony, Dympna, Clare, Edward, Noeleen & Gloria, daughters in law Eileen & Marie, sons in law Jim, John, Neil, Brendan, Phelim & Peter & her adored 29 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, all her relations & many friends.

Louth, 4th December 2020. Beloved mother to Claire, Paul and Alan. Predeceased by her parents Seamus and Maggie. Much loved and sadly missed with love by her daughters-in-law Keira and Linda, grandchildren Alan, Casey, Caitlyn, Abbie, Bobby, Ryan and Conor, partner Kieran. Reposing at her residence this Saturday evening from 5pm until removal on Monday morning on foot via Monaghan St. to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross. Yvonne’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by her family.
