John Masterson

Canningstown, Cavan / Coolock, Dublin

Masterson, John (Canningstown, Cavan) formerly of Coolock, peacefully in Beaumont Hospital 6th December 2020. Beloved husband to Patricia, loving father to Victoria, Martina, John, Shane, Daniel and Jade. Sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law Patrick, grandchildren Seán, Nathan, Summer, Jayden, Jaxson, Fayth and John, great-grandchild Jai, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing Wednesday at his daughter's house in Kilbarrack. Funeral Mass Thursday at 9:00 o' clock in Bonnybrook Church, 122 Greencastle Road, Coolock, Dublin 17 followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

Eric Pepper

Willowbrook, Monelta, Stradone, Cavan / Blanchardstown, Dublin

Sunday, December 6th, suddenly. Beloved husband of Valerie, amazing father to Eric, Stephen, Karl, Lisa-Marie and Matthew. Will forever be missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, mother, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

May he rest in Peace.

John (JH) Dixon

The Garage, Lower Main St., Ballybay, Monaghan

Peacefully on Tuesday, 8th December 2020, in the loving care of his devoted family, in his 97th year.

John will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Linda, daughter Joann (Grimes), sons Gary and David, son-in-law Gerry, daughter-in-law Anna- Marie, grandchildren Ella, Aaron, Abraham, Elijah, Joshua, Isaiah, Adam and Levi, the entire family circle and also his many friends.

Due to the current Covid restrictions the House and Funeral service are strictly private, please.

Resting at his home, until removal on Thursday, 10th December, at 1.30pm, for Funeral Service in Christ Church, Ballybay, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Those who wish to pay their respects along the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.

Donations in memory of John, if so desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care, (cheques made payable to same), c/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member.

Due to the death of John, Ballybay Tyre Centre, will be closed until Friday, 11th December.

Vincent (Vinnie) Duffy

Moylough, Killark, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Vincent (Vinnie) Duffy. Moylough, Killark, Carrickmacross. 7th December 2020. In his 95th year. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his beloved family. Predeceased by his parents James & Bridget, his sister Kathleen and his brothers Jim & Ignatius. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his wife Marion, his sons Brendan, David & Raymond, his daughters Colette (McCourt), Aileen (Rooney) & Pauline (Dillon), his daughters-in-law Anna & Carmel and his sons-in-law Barry, Pat & Enda, his beloved grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Conall, Eóghan, Shay, Ciara, Bláthnaid, Niamh, Ava, Alannah, Vinnie, Moya & Ben his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Vincent's Funeral Mass will take place for family only in St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel, Upper Magheracloone, on Thursday, 10th December, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Vincent's funeral cortège leaves his home on Thursday morning at 10:45am proceeding to St. Patrick's Church.

Rosaleen O'Sullivan (née Brennan)

The death has occurred of Rosaleen O’Sullivan, 41 The Cresent, Castleblayney, Monaghan, Tuesday, 8th December, peacefully in the tender loving care of her family. Rosaleen, predeceased by her husband Dickie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Denise & Caroline, sons Derek & Kieron, sisters Maureen (England), Anna & Pauline (Killmainhamwood, Meath), brother Felix (Australia), daughter and sons in-law, her cherished grandchildren, and extended family of relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Rosaleen’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Rosaleen will repose among family, neighbours and friends only, at her residence 41 The Cresent, Castleblayney until her removal on Thursday, 10th December at 11.30am, leaving her residence to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Rosaleen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only (restricted to 25). The community of neighbours and friends are welcome to pay their final tribute to Rosaleen by lining the route as her remains are brought from her residence at The Cresent to St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney from 11.30am on Thursday, 10th December.

The death has occurred of Alan Woods, Tankardsrock, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co. Louth and Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, suddenly, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Saturday 5th December 2020. Predeceased by his mother Angela. Much loved and sadly missed with love by his father Lenorad, sister Jean, brother Seamus, Declan, David and Shane, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in both Carrickmacross & Kilkerley.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 11am until 9pm. In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 3, Alan’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by his family. Alan’s funeral cortège will travel from his residence on Thursday morning to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross (approx. 12.45pm).

Tullintrot, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Seamus Malone, Tullintrot, Mullyash, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Sunday, December 6th 2020. Predeceased by his parents James and Lily. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Ann, brother John, sisters, Mary (Hoey), Ann (Cassidy), Betty (Sheridan), Teresa (McGuinness), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.

In line with guidelines issued by The Government and The HSE, Seamus’ Funeral Mass and burial will be limited to 25 family members.

Reposing at his home from this evening until removal on Wednesday morning at 11:30 am travelling via the Keady Road arriving for funeral mass at 12noon in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
