Shine Your Light this Winter
As funerals continue with restricted numbers during this winter we are now faced with longer and darker nights. One of the most comforting images for grieving families has been guards of honour from members of the community to share their sympathy.
As winter approaches, we now face the challenge to maintain a new custom in a safe and respectful manner.
We would like to encourage you to Shine a Light to show your respect along the route of the funeral cortège. As you stand in support, wouldn’t it be nice to hold a torch or shine the light of your phone and help to brighten up the dark nights for grieving families.
