Sean Drumm

Drummetta Road Aghalane, Teemore, Fermanagh / Belturbet, Cavan

The sudden death has occurred of Sean Drumm, Drummetta Rd Aghalane, Teemore Co. Fermanagh, 2nd January 2021 in his 69th year. Sean, very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Mary (nee Melanophy), sons Ronan & Colm, their partners Aideen and Tara, grandson Aodan, brother Francis and sisters Moira, Sheila,Rosaleen, Carmel and Christina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Sean's remains will leave his home at Drummetta Rd at 10.30am on Wednesday, 6th January, to arrive at St Mary's Church Teemore for funeral mass at 11.00am. Followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.The family home remains private to family and friends.

For those who wish to show their support for the Drumm family along the route, You are asked to do so in a socially distanced and safe manner.

Due to Government restrictions Sean's funeral Mass and burial will be private to family only.

Thomas Gargan

Srahan, Bailieborough, Cavan

Thomas Gargan, Srahan, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, died 3rd January 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, following a stay in the O'Sullivan Centre, Cavan. Predeceased by his parents alice and John, infant sister Elizabeth Mary. Sadly missed by his loving siblings Philip and Ita (Cullivan), sister in law Julie, brother in law Con, nephew PJ, nieces Alison, Lizzie and Sheila, grandnephew Killian Thomas, in-laws Roisin and Brian, relatives and friends.

May Thomas Rest in Peace.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines, Thomas's funeral will be private to family only, please.

Thomas's funeral procession will leave Clarke's Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10.30am and will pass by Thomas's residence in Srahan, en route to St Patrick's Church, Tierworker, for funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Old Moybologue Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer's Society Ireland.

Teresa O'Brien (née Tackney)

Killatee, Maudabawn, Cootehill, Cavan

Teresa O'Brien (nee Tackney). Kilatee, Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co.Cavan died 4th January 2021,peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Phil. Deeply regretted by her loving family, Joe, Michael, Mary Callery, Anthony and Fiona O'Reilly, sister Maureen (England), sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Removal this Wednesday morning at 11.45 am, to St. Patrick's Church, Maudabawn, for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be private to family members under current guidelines.

Please adhere to social distancing and H.S.E. guidelines for those standing along the route of the funeral procession. House private please.

Bernadette O'Reilly (née Keogan)

Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bernadette O’Reilly (nee Keogan), Virginia, County Cavan. Peacefully at Care Choice Nursing Home, Trim surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Farrell. Deeply missed by her loving daughters, Meabh Brady (Pollentemple, Virginia), Fiona Smith (Dervor, Carnaross), Helena Keenan (St. Kyrans, Virginia), sons-in-law, Jim, John & Patrick, devoted grandchildren, Tanya, Farrell, Conor, Shauna, Leona, Darragh, Michaela & Shane, her extended family, dedicated carers and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Departing from St. Kyrans, Virginia this Wednesday, January 6th, at 1.30pm with arrival at Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, County Cavan for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Maghera Cemetery.

In compliance with Current Covid 19 guidelines, the family home will remain private. Bernadette’s Funeral Mass will be restricted to family members only. People are invited to form a guard of honour along the route of the funeral cortege along the Bailieborough Rd, Virginia to the chapel or along the route to Maghera Graveyard as a mark of respect.

Meta Thompson

Sudbury, London and formerly Knocknashammer, Mountainlodge, Cootehill, Cavan

Meta Thompson, Sudbury, London and formerly Knocknashammer, Mountainlodge, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, passed away December 22nd 2020, suddenly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her partner Tony, sister Etta, brothers Victor and Ken, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Removal from Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough Friday at 1.30pm to arrive at Kilmount Presbyterian Church via knocknashammer for Funeral Service at 2pm with Burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard. The death has occurred of Patsy (Patrick) Marron, Ummerafree, Corduff, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at his residence, Monday 4th January 2021 in his 98th year. Predeceased by his wife Josie and sisters Molly and Rosaleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons Gerry (Ummerafree), Denis (Chicago), Michael (Taghart North), daughters Margaret McCabe (Lisacullion), Mary Larkin (Tossey), Patricia Morrissey (Galway) and Bernie Ruth (Ummerafree), sister Margaret Traynor (Drumgurra), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Level 5 Guidelines, there will be no public wake at Patsy’s home. We ask relatives, friends and neighbours to respect the families’ wishes.

Patsy’s funeral cortège will leave his residence on Wednesday 6th to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Corduff, for Requiem Mass at 12noon, which will be celebrated privately in the presence of his family, in accordance with current guidelines. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
