BRADY, Matthew (Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly of Grousehall, Co. Cavan) January 15th 2021, passed away after a short illness at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Catriona, much loved father of Shane, Matthew and Fiona and brother to Rosie (Sr. Andrea), Helen, Nuala, Gabrielle, Peter, Noel, Michael, and the late Pat Joe, Nancy, Margaret, Sheila, Mary, John, and Fr. Brian. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. House strictly private please. Elizabeth (Betty) Colleran (née Smith)

Abbey View, Clarecastle, Clare / Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Elizabeth Colleran (née Smith) (Better known as Betty) - Abbey View, Clarecastle, Co.Clare & formerly of Ballyjamesduff, Co.Cavan - January 15th. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cahercalla Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Michael

Deeply regretted by her loving children Mary, Philip, John, Veronica & Joseph, sons-in-law Kevin & Seán, daughters-in-law Antoinette & Rita, grandchildren Kiren, Stephen, Aoife, Shane, Danny, Bryan, Jack, Lily, Aimee & Faye, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Due to HSE and Government guidelines this is a private family funeral which will take place in The Church of SS Peter & Paul's, Clarecastle on Monday at 11 with Burial after in Clarehill Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Gerrit Isenborger, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Sadly missed by his sister Bettina and his close circle of very special friends.

David Vincent (Vinny) O'Reilly

The death has occurred of David Vincent ( Vinny ) O'Reilly, Lakeview, Virginia, Co. Cavan (and formerly of Glasnevin, Dublin and late of Irish Prison Services), peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sisters Annette, Maureen and Rose. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Lucy, his children Geraldine, Brenda, Karen, David, Declan and Keith, his brother Eamon, his sister Doreen, sons in law Tim and Nigel,daughters in law Sharon and Nora, his adored grandchildren Conor, Niamh, Maeve, Eileen, Nora, Katie, Adam, Eoghan and Shane, his brother in law Cecil, his sister in law May, nieces, nephews, good neighbours in Virginia and Ferndale Avenue, former colleagues at Irish Prison Services and relatives and friends.

Brian Finnegan

Halftate, Coolderry, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brian Finnegan. Halftate, Coolderry, Carrickmacross. 15th January 2021. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Kilmainwood Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Vera, his parents Mick & Kate and his sister Mary-Ellen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his brothers Teddy (Kent) & Michael, his sisters Aggie (Manchester) & Teresa (Liverpool), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines Brian's Funeral Mass and burial will take place privately for family only (limited to 10) on Sunday, 17th January, at 11:30am, in St. Peter & Paul's Church, lower Magheracloone, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects, in a socially distanced manner, as Brian's funeral cortège leaves Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Sunday at 11am proceeding via the Kingscourt Road to St. Peter & Paul's Church.

To keep each other safe it is important that we follow government and HSE guidelines, adhere to social distancing, wear face coverings and refrain from hand shaking and hugging.

ANN (Nan) Hoey (née Kindlon)

Mullagh, Inniskeen, Monaghan / Skibbereen, Cork

The death has occurred of Ann NéeHoey (Kindlon) peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of late Seamus. Much loved mother of Maire Needham, Michael, Colm, Grainne O’Brien, Aíne O’Driscoll and Roísin Hoey. Sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Deeply regretted by brother Seamus, sisters Madge and Rosie and predeacesed by sister Kathleen.

Due to government guidelines the house is private please. Ann’s Funeral Mass is limited to 10 family members. Removal on Sunday morning to Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Ann by being present on route, socially distanced, on Sunday, the 17th of January, as Ann is brought from home Mullagh, Inniskeen via Blackstaff, Magoney, Drumboat, Carrickakelly, Ballyrush, Drumass, Riverside, St. Daigh’s Terrace and Edenamo to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass and afterwards for burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
