A day of scattered showers

Most areas will begin dry with sunny spells and well scattered showers, say Met Éireann for today. Becoming cloudier though with possible patchy rain or drizzle, persistent locally. Cool with highest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate west to southwest breezes, fresher near the coast.

Tonight will bring further patches of rain, drizzle and mist. Some frost too, where skies clear. Rather cold with lowest temperature of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, in just light southwest breezes.

Tomorrow

Some brighter spells early Monday. Generally dull and overcast though with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, turning heavy in places later. Mist and fog in parts too, in just light southerly breezes. Rather cool with highest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius.
