Finbarr R. Coyle

Dungimmon House, Mountnugent, Cavan

Finbarr R. Coyle, late of Dungimmon House, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan, who passed away suddenly, on the 3rd February 2021, at his home in Fuengirola, in Spain, aged 68 years. Father of Lynda, Helen and Robert, beloved brother of Declan, Vincent, Norbert and the late Noel and Kay. He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, their mother Petria, brothers, extended family and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Cremation will take place in Spain later this week. A celebration of Finbarr’s life will take place in Ballinacree, when Covid restrictions have lifted. Finbarr’s ashes will be interred in the family grave at this time.

A special word of thanks to Kevin, Liam, Frank and Finbarr’s neighbours in Spain for their friendship.

Fortland, Crover, Mountnugent, Cavan

Sean Doherty, Fortland, Crover, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan. Died Saturday 13th of February 2021 peacefully at St. James' Hospital surrounded by his Family. Predeceased by his wife Noeleen. Sadly missed by his daughter Kim, sons Colin and Adam, son-in-law Phil, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Removal from his residence on Tuesday morning to St. Mary's Church, Ballinarry for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Burial in adjoining cemetery. In line with current Government & HSE Guidelines the family home and funeral mass is strictly private, please. Evelyn Kelly (née Mc Cormilla)

Brookside, Farnham Rd, Cavan Town, Cavan / Smithboro, Monaghan

Evelyn Kelly (nee Mc Cormilla), Brookside, Farnham Rd, Cavan Town & formerly Smithboro, Co Monaghan, Monday, February 15th 2021, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her heartbroken family.

Beloved wife & best friend of Cathal & devoted mother to Padraig, Paula, Orla, Cathal, Aishling, Damian, Evelyn & Aoife. Sadly missed by all her family, sisters, Sr. Monica ,Josephine Ward , brothers , Donal , Martin & Gerard, sisters in law, brothers in law, daughters in law, sons in law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, all her relatives & many friends.

Due to current restrictions, Evelyn's funeral Mass & burial will be private to family only. Anyone who would like to do so are asked to post their condolences in the section below. For anyone wishing to pay a final tribute to Evelyn, her remains will leave her home in Brookside at 10.40 on Wednesday morning to travel to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry. Anyone standing along the route are welcome but are asked to observe social distancing guidelines please.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Christopher's Hospice, Cavan, care of Mc Mahon Funeral Directors, Farnham Rd, Cavan or any family member.

Marie O'Reilly (née Duffy)

Troytown Heights, Navan, Meath / Ballinagh, Cavan

The death has occurred, peacefully in her 99th year, at Millbury Nursing Home, of Marie O'Reilly, Troytown Heights, Navan. Predeceased by her husband Michael and son Brian. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Patricia and Susan, sons Leo and Michael, grandchildren Bernard, Catherine, David, Emma, Robert, Cormac, Michael, Barry and Roibeárd, great-grandchildren Noah and Ollie, sons-in-law John and Dermot, daughters-in-law Margaret, Rosemary and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Thomas O’Reilly, Behey, Arva, Co. Cavan. Monday February 15th, peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Doreen and dear father of Carol, Helen and John. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law Frank and Mark, daughter-in-law Lois, his adored grandchildren Claire, Jonathan, Erin and greatgrandchild Lily, sisters Maggie and Lil, brother Kevin, sister-in-law, relatives and friends. Requiem mass on Thursday at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Coronea, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium Dublin Road Cavan.

In keeping with current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings The funeral will be private for family only (limit of 10 people in the church and crematorium).

And late of Owen Roe Tce., Cavan Town. Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his wife & family. Thomas (Tony) loving husband of Breege & beloved father Maura, Anthony, Joseph & James. Margaret Rogers (nee Sheridan) Carnans Lower, Tierworker, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 15th February 2021, in her 99th year peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tommy, her brothers James and Peter and sister Theresa. Deeply regretted by her sons John and Thomas, daughter Breda (Nenagh), daughters-in-law Margaret and Georgina, Breda's partner Philip, sisters Nellie Lynch (Ardlow), Mollie Calvey (Westport), grandchildren Louise, Sean, Laura, Thomas, Rachel, great-grandchildren Kyle and Mia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Mickey passed away peacefully in the Mater Hospital Dublin, after a short illness, bravely borne. Cherished husband of Deirdre, and adored father of Luke. Mickey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, son, heartbroken mother Frances, Sisters Christine (Gerry Mc Dermott), Brenda (Colm Maguire), brothers John (Lucy), and Colin, mother-in-law Cissie, father-in-law Packie, sister-in-law Marie (Gene Murphy), brother's-in-law Gerard (Geraldine), Michael and Niall (Joan), Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

The death has occurred of Gwen Moffett, Tirnaneill, Monaghan (Ace Cabs), Monday 15th February suddenly at her residence.

Pre-deceased by her parents Crozier & Vera Moffett. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her brother Gregory, sister in law Michele & niece Mia, cousins Jaqueline & Drew Evans and their children Lucy, Emma, Katie & Jack. Gwen will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her wide circle of friends.

Gwen's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, Tuesday from 7pm - 9pm. Please ensure to adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times. Remains will leave McMahon's Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1.30 via Dublin Street, Monaghan to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for private service and cremation at 3pm.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as Gwen's funeral cortege travels from McMahon's Funeral Home through Monaghan Town via Dublin Street (please adhere to social distancing at all times).

Davie Thompson

Feragh, Dunraymond, Monaghan

Peacefully on Monday, 15th February 2021 at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan. Predeceased by his brothers Joe & Billy and sisters Aggie & Maud.

Davie will be dearly missed by his brother Rennie, sisters Greta and Lizzie and the entire family circle.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Wednesday, 17th February, in Creevagh Reformed Presbyterian Church at 2pm.

Due to the current covid restrictions the house and funeral are strictly private please.
