The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Connolly (née O’Reilly), Cuchalainn Terrace, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her residence Saturday 20th February 2021.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Kevin, Sean, Peadar, Paddy, Maura and Judy.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Patsy, son Paudie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines for Level 5, there will be no public wake as Bernadette’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by her family (limited to 10).

There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects as Bernadette’s funeral cortège leaves her late residence on Monday morning to arrive for Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Helen Duffy (née McMahon)

Essexford, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Helen Duffy (née McMahon), Essexford, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Friday 19th February 2021.

Deeply regretted by her husband Paddy, son Andrew, sisters Ann, Doreen, Irene, Mary and Sandra, brothers Peter and Packie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at her residence. House Strictly Private.

Removal on Monday to St. Enda’s Church, Killanny for Requiem Mass at 11am, which will be celebrated privately by her family (limited to 10). Burial afterward in adjoining cemetery. No flowers, donations if desired to local charities.

Predeceased by his son Stephen.

Sadly missed by his son Anthony, daughter Christina, daughter in law Susan, grandchildren Conor, Stephanie, Amanda, David, Shane and Jordan, great grandchildren, sisters Anne and Elizabeth, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

Removal on Monday at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

Mark Ward

Tyholland, Castleshane, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mark Ward, Age 16 years of Cavancreevy, Castleshane, Co. Monaghan. On Friday the 19th of February 2021, Peacefully at his residence.

Beloved son of Brendan, Martina and treasured brother of Lisa.

Deeply regretted by his parents, sister, godparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence until Monday the 22nd of February before leaving his home at 10:15 for 11am funeral mass in St. Patricks Church Tyholland. And burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery
