Such was the demand for the album from UK based listeners that the first shipment of records to Avalanche sold-out within the first couple of days.

Sons of Southern Ulster's critically acclaimed new album, 'Sinners and Lost Souls', has received a release on vinyl 12' pressing.

The record, which was earlier released online and on CD format, began shipping through distributors earlier this month and is available from Spin Dizzy and Steamboat Records in Ireland, Edinburgh's famous Avalanche Records in the UK, and Gravity Records in the US.

Such was the demand for the album from UK based listeners that the first shipment of records to Avalanche sold-out within the first couple of days.

'Saints and Sinners' comes five years after the Bailieborough-born purveyors of post-punk left an indelible mark on the Irish music scene with with their debut album ‘Foundry Folk Songs’ (2015).

The album has received rave reviews from the music press, and earned the support of fellow musicians such as Pete Briquette of Boomtown Rats fame.

Ballyjamesduff-native Patrick Martin Cusack teamed-up with SOSU as part for a unique collaboration to celebrate Cavan Day 2020 by releasing a remix of the track 'Polaris'.

SoSU are vocalist Justin Kelly, now living in Boston and guitarist David Meagher, both former members of The Panic Merchants who regularly featured on Dave Fanning’s Rock Show in the 1980s; drummer Noel ‘Skinhammer’ Larkin, and bassist Paddy Glackin, Western Australia.
