Ellen Jordan (née McCaul)

Beaumont, Dublin / Cavan

Jordan (née McCaul) Ellen (Beaumont, Dublin and formerly of Corcraff, Lisboduff, Co. Cavan) March 22nd 2021, peacefully at home; beloved wife of the late Gerry, loving mother of Peter, Gerald, Noel, Brian, Derek, Colette and Celine and sister of Benny. Sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

In accordance with Government guidelines on public gatherings, a private funeral will take place for immediate family.

Anne (Nan) O'Reilly (née Clarke)

Talbot Court, Trim, Meath / Templeogue, Dublin / Bailieborough, Cavan

Anne (Nan) O'Reilly (nee Clarke) Talbot Court, Trim, Co. Meath and formerly of Templeogue, Dublin and Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 22nd of March 2021. Peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Carechoice Nursing Home, Trim after a long illness. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband of 59 years Frank, her daughters Fiona (Segrave) and Marie (Higgins) and son Tony, sons-in-law Peter and Kevin and daughter-in-law Anna. Beloved granny of Jamie, Thomas, Sarah, Charlie, Billy, Rose, John and Brian. Nan will be greatly missed by her loving family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines Nan's Funeral will be private to family only.

Nan's funeral procession will leave her home at 56 Talbot Court, Trim on Thursday morning at 10.45am to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 12noon with Burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those standing along the funeral procession route.

Vincent Duffy

Kilnacran, Braddox, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Vincent Duffy, Kilnacran, Braddox, Co. Monaghan, Sunday, March 21st, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his wife Eleanor, children Eddie, Vincent, Susan, Eugene, Liz, Pauline, Fintan and Eleanor, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters, brother-in-law, his cherished grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Vincent’s funeral took place today, Tuesday, privately in the Most Holy Rosary Church, Tullycorbet followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernard (Barney) Hand

Drumbracken, Magheracloone, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) Hand, Chicago and formerly of Drumbracken, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in Chicago, 22nd March 2021.

Predeceased by his wife Mary. Deeply regretted by his son Bernard Jnr., sisters-in-law, Lizzie and Margaret Hand, and much adored nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in U.S.A., Ireland, England and France.

Rest In Peace.

Interment will take place in Chicago. A Memorial Mass will take place in St. Peter & St. Paul's Church, Lower Magheracloone at a later date.

Genevieve (Gene) Keelan (née O'Hanlon)

Cathedral Road, Latlurcan (and formerly Glaslough), Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Genevieve (Gene) Keelan, nee O’Hanlon, on Tuesday 23rd March, peacefully in Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan town. Predeceased by her husband Kevin and son Dermot, brother Frank and sister Maura, she is survived and greatly missed by her sons Caoimhghín, Breandán and Fiontán (Ó Caoláin), daughters-in-law Briege, Trish and Giuli, grandchildren Aisling, Sinéad, Clíodhna, Deirbhile, Órán, Tiarnán and Ríoghán and great granddaughter Ailbhe, by her sister Sally and by her brothers Pat and Seamus and by nephews, nieces and cousins and extended family and friends.

Gene’s removal from her son Caoimhghín’s home will take place on Thursday morning at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Macartan’s Cathedral, driving through Monaghan Town en route. Neighbours and friends can wish Gene farewell as her remains pass by. Burial will take place in the family plot in Latlurcan Cemetery.

Due to current coronavirus restrictions the house and Funeral Mass are strictly private, only immediate family, please.
