Josh McClorey's Debut EP 'Blessings' out today

Digital version of 4-track EP ‘Blessings’ is out March 26, with vinyl to follow in April 2021.

Josh McClorey's Debut EP 'Blessings' out today, which features his brand new single 'When Men Were Men', has had its release today (Friday, March 26).

'When Men Were Men' explores the concepts concerning men’s mental health and how male emotion is often portrayed in modern media. With striking elements of alternative pop, ‘When Men Were Men’ is the culmination of inspiration from both R&B guitar greats and stories written from Josh’s garden shed- an astute take on today’s world with soulful reminiscent tones of escapism.

To celebrate the EP, Josh has also launched an exclusive podcast-video series filmed from Blessings Bar in his hometown of Cavan, Ireland, featuring special guests Declan McKenna, JC Stewart, Orla Gartland, and Kid Brunswick.

Josh and guests discuss the themes and messages behind the EP - it will also feature live performances of the tracks.

Following the split of his former band The Strypes, McClorey has been writing his debut project whilst exploring other creative outlets; collaborating with Yungblud on his standout sophomore album ‘Weird!’and on Paul Weller’s ‘On Sunset’, both respectively scoring No.1 in the UK Albums Charts.

Digital version of 4-track EP ‘Blessings’ is out March 26, with vinyl to follow in April 2021.
