The death has occurred of Vincent Dowd Dublin, formally Knappagh, Shercock, Co. Cavan, March 26th 2021, peacefully, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Sarah, brothers Augustin, Jack, Jimmy and Kevin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brother Frank, sisters Maureen, Nellie, Bridie, Theresa and Kathleen, sisters-in-law Helen and Dymphna, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions, Vincent's funeral will be private.

Funeral cortège will leave Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, on Monday morning at 11.30am to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, for private Cremation.

James (Jim) Early

Clontarf, Dublin / Dowra, Cavan

(Clontarf and late of Dowra, Co. Cavan) – 25th March 2021, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Beneavin Lodge Nursing Home; beloved husband of Sheila (née Bodkin) and brother of the late Paul and Teresa.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, niece Mary, nephews Thomas, Patrick and Michael, sisters-in-law Eilish and Maureen, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings.

Jean Farrelly (née O'Reilly)

Relaghan, Shercock, Cavan

Jean Farrelly (nee O'Reilly) Relaghan, Shercock, Co. Cavan, died 27th March 2021, peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Patsy her brothers and sisters Willie, Hugh, Peter, Eva, Charlie, Patrick, Annette and Teresina, her aunt Eva (Canada), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Due to current government and HSE guidelines, Jean's Funeral will be private to family only. P

Funeral procession will leave her residence on Monday at 11.30am to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Killann, for funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in St Anne’s Cemetery, Bailieborough.

Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those who are standing along the funeral route. House Private, please.

Anthony (Tony) Melvin

Thomastown, Crossakiel, Kells, Meath

Tony passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan. Beloved husband of Edith (nee Porter), dear father of Robert, Denis & Linda, loving grandad of Lena & Alexander.

Predeceased by his father Anthony, mother Maud, sisters Violet (Vi), Muriel & Pearl. Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter, daughter in law Katya, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind carers, neighbours & friends.

A private family funeral will take place on Sunday at 3pm in St. Bride's Church, Oldcastle with burial afterwards in Loughcrew graveyard.

Due to government & HSE guidelines the funeral will be private, for family only.

John Anthony (Tony) King

Ashford, Wicklow / Belfast, Antrim / Monaghan

John Anthony (Tony) King of Knockadreet, Ashford and formerly of Belfast and Monaghan who passed away on Friday 26th March 2021 peacefully at home.

Loving husband of Mary and much-loved dad of Orla, Roisin, Lillian and the late Jean and adoring grandad of Marie, Anthony, Alannah, Kerrie, Erin, Andrew and Jane.

He will be sadly missed by his sons in laws Shane Langrell, and John and Orla’s partner Anthony, sisters Anna and Eva, extended family and friends.

Removal from the family home on Tuesday at 10.30am to the Church of St Laurence O’Toole Roundwood arriving for a private family funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment in Roundwood Cemetery.

Nellie McAleer (née Carbin)

7 Tully, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her husband Sean.

Sadly missed by her sons Seamus and John, daughters Gloria and Bernadette, daughters in law Lorna and Ginny, sons in law Brendan and Jimmy, grandchildren Louise, Gary, Lauragh, Emily, Lorraine, Darren, Barry, Dwayne, Shea, Stephen, Paul, Adam and Kayleigh, her 23 great grandchildren, sisters in law Enda and Cassie, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence.

Removal on Monday at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

Baby Brian John McCaffrey

Golan, Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Baby Brian John McCaffrey, Golan, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan. Friday 26th March peacefully at Crumlin Children's Hospital, Dublin in the arms of his loving parents.

Brian John will be forever remembered by his parents, Declan & Deirdre, sister Aoibhinn, grandmother Mary McCaffrey, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian John will repose at the family home until removal on Sunday to arrive at St. Patricks Church, Corracrin for burial at 2pm.

Due to the current restrictions, Brian John's home will be strictly private.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as Brian John's funeral cortege travels from the family home to the church for burial (please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times).

Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by her husband John (Sean).
