Philip Cooney, Drumsivney, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. April 1st 2021 suddenly at his home. Predeceased by his parents Ellen and Francis Cooney and his brothers James and Oliver. Philip was very much loved and will be sadly missed by his brother Patrick, sister Teresa Keogh, Rock Cross, Cavan Town, brother-in-law Edmund, nieces Finola, Deirdre, Niamh and Niamh’s husband Jack, grandnieces Sadhbh, Iseult and Laoise, cousins, neighbours and his long time carer Marie Langton.

Due to Government regulations and HSE advice, Philip’s reposing, Funeral Mass and burial will be private to family only. Philip's Funeral will leave the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Monday morning, April 5th, at 10.15am and travel to St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial following Mass in the family plot in Carrickallen cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding at this time.

Oliver Creegan, Carrickane, Cavan, Thursday, April 1st, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers, Eugene, Mike, Seamus, Pat & Johnny & his sister Sarah. Beloved husband of Patricia & loving father of Damian, Rhona, Fiacre & Fergal. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother PJ, sisters Sr. Mary Rose, Sr. Kathleen, Jean, Tess, Eílish, Belinda, Philomena & Helena, daughters-in-law Kathleen, Geraldine & Aedamar, son-in-law Brendan, his adored grandchildren Aisling, Aran, Pauric, Luke, Dara, Eve, Rory, Cliodhna, Cathal, Aoife, Oliver & Alex, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his relatives, good neighbours & many, many friends.

Due to current HSE & government restrictions, Oliver's Funeral Mass & burial will be private to family only. Oliver's Funeral cortege will leave his home in Carrickane on Easter Monday morning at 10.30 am, travelling via Golf Link's Rd & Farnham Rd., to arrive at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will take place afterwards in Cullies cemetery. Those standing along the route are asked to observe social distancing guidelines & keep safe. The death has occurred of Mary Christina (Tiny) Rennicks, (nee Griffin), Drumrath, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and late of Balrath Road, Kells, Co. Meath. Peacefully, at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan. Predeceased by her mother and father, Patrick and Mary, brother Tom, sister Ann (Connell). She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Fergus, sons Conrad and Paul, daughter Caroline, daughters in law Mary and Deirdre, son in law Eddie, grandchildren Amy, Stephen, Karl, Ellie, Mark, Killian and Adam, two great-grandchildren Cianan and Niyha, brothers Patrick and John, sisters Kathleen (Collier), and Angela (Reilly), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family partner Dinah, son Thomas, brothers, sisters, grand-daughters Megan and Caoimhe, nieces, nephews and extended family, relatives and friends.

Bridie Keenan (nee Gray), Brackagh, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, Thursday 1st of April, peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Bridie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Michael John, sons and daughters Martin (Siobhan), Angela Canny (Tom), Pauline McClave (Mickey), Frances, Geraldine Jenkins (Ivor) & Sean (Sharon), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Katie (Catherine) Mc Caghey (née Marron)

Drumganus, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Katie (Catherine) Mc Caghey (nee Marron) - Founder of McCaghey Turkeys, Drumganus, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Thursday, 1st of April 2021, in her 102nd year, peacefully, in the loving care of her devoted family. Katie, predeceased by her husband James, sons Eamon & Gerard. Greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters - Tommy, Seamus, Ann, Peadar, Con, Pat, Ray and Mary, sons in-laws, daughters in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May Katie’s Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Katie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately in the presence of her family only (restricted to 10). Katie’s funeral cortège will travel from her home on Sunday 4th April, leaving at 11am, proceeding to St. Patrick’s Church, Broomfield, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The community of neighbours and friends are most welcome to pay their final tribute to Katie by lining the route in a socially distanced manner as her remains are brought from her residence at Drumganus to St. Patrick’s Church, Broomfield for 11.30am Requiem Mass on Sunday.
