Larry (Leo) Glennon

Crossafehin, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Larry (Leo) Glennon, Crossafehin, Virginia, Co Cavan, peacefully on the 5th of April. Sadly missed by his loving wife Brigid, sons Philip and Leo, daughter Marie, daughter-in-law Lorraine, son-in-law Francis and Philip's partner Rita, much loved grandchildren Jamie, Shane, Philip, Leone, Sean, Michael, Lee, George and Oisin, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence in Crossafehin from Wednesday evening.

Larry's funeral cortège will be leaving his residence on Thursday morning at 10.45am for funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew's Church, Munterconnaught, at 11am, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. People are invited to pay their respects along the route to the chapel on Thursday morning.

House will be private.

In compliance with COVID 19 guidelines the family home will be strictly private. Larry's Funeral Mass will be restricted to family members only.

Philip Land

Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan / Finglas, Dublin / Meath

Land, Philip, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly of Finglas, Dublin, April 4th 2021, peacefully but suddenly, surrounded by his loving family at Beaumont Hospital. Deeply regretted by his wife Noeleen, daughters Jennifer, Emma and Sarah, parents Robert and Agnes, sons in law Mark, Sid and Mike, grandchildren Karl, Lily, Molly and Charlie, brother John, sister Elsie, brother in law John, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral Mass will take place for family in St Mary’s Church, Castlerahan, on Friday, April 09, 2021, at 11am, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.

Removal from Lakelands Funeral home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Thursday morning at 10.30am to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan to arrive for 11.00am Requiem Mass, Interment afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Sean Smyth

Cavany, Scotshouse, Monaghan / Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sean Smyth, Cavany, Scotshouse, Clones Co. Monaghan, April 5th 2021, peacefully, at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Clones. Beloved husband of Annie and adored father of PJ (Noeleen), Breege (Joe), Sean (Fidelma), Orla (Shane), Declan (Louise) and Stephen (Eyna). Sean will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren, brother (Patsy Smyth, Crossbane), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sean will repose at his residence, Cavany, amongst his family, due to COVID-19 restrictions. House strictly private, please. There will be an opportunity to pay respects by lining the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, from his residence to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse, for funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in Scotshouse Cemetery.
