The death has occurred of Vincent (Vinnie) Fox Templeogue, Dublin, and formerly Corgreagh, Kill, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. April 4th 2021. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sister Phyllis, nieces, carers, relatives and friends.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions Vincent's Funeral Mass and burial took place in the presences of his family privately on Wednesday in St. Brigid's Church, Kill, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Mary McPhillips (née Fitzpatrick)

Killycreeny, Cootehill, Cavan

Mary McPhillips, Killycreeny, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, April 6th, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her brothers Terence, Sean and Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Frankie, sons Paddy and Frank, daughters Maura (Robin) and Claire (Clarke) grandchildren, daughter in law, sons in law, sisters in law , brother in law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at her residence until removal on Thursday afternoon, arriving at St. Patrick's Church, Corick, for 3pm private funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Due to current restrictions Mary's house, funeral and burial will be private. Matthew (Mattie) McDonagh, Drumalee, Cavan Town & formerly Doonbeg, Co. Clare & Lettermore, Co. Galway, Tuesday, April 6th 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his sister Eileen. Mattie will be forever missed by his heartbroken wife Josephine, his loving sons, Kevin & Fionan, his brother Kevin, sister in law, Bernie & daughter in law, Noelle. Mattie will always be remembered in the hearts & minds of his cherished grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Ben, Rachel & Sean, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & all who knew & loved him.

Mattie's Funeral cortège will depart his residence at 12.45pm on Thursday to arrive at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry. Those standing along the route are asked to observe social distancing guidelines. The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) McDonnell, McCurtin St, Clones, Co. Monaghan, April 6th 2021, peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Francis (Sheeran) and brother Edward. Beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Orlagh (Kieran), Ian (Herta, London), David (Aoife, Australia) and Aoife (Philip, Australia). Mick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren James, Ryan, Oisin, Emma, Sarah, Fianna, Tommy, Saoirse and Conan, sisters Audrey, Charlotte and Sandra, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mick will be resting at the family home. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, Friday, 9th April, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery. Mick’s funeral cortège to the chapel will travel via The Diamond and Fermanagh St. (Leaving the family home approx 10.30am).

The death has occurred of Hugh McKenna (Peter Brian), former Monaghan County Council worker, Glassmullagh, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday, 7th April, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John, her parents Patrick & Christina and her brother Peader. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Sheila's funeral cortège leaves her home on Saturday morning at 10.30am via Farney Street & Main Street proceeding to St. Joseph's Church.
