Breaking: Draw for 2021 Ulster Championship made

GAA news

Ulster champions Cavan have been handed a tough draw in the first round of the Ulster Championship as they seek to defend the Anglo-Celt Cup.

Mickey Graham’s will travel to Healy Park, Omagh to take on Tyrone, a side Cavan haven’t beaten in championship football since 1983.

However, the Breffni men were transformed last season and having bolstered their squad in the off-season, they will be privately unperturbed by the challenge.

If Cavan win, they will meet the winners of Down and Donegal, who meet in the preliminary round, or Derry in the semi-final.

On the other side of the draw, it’s Armagh v Antrim while Monaghan take on Fermanagh.
