Mixed weather in store

The weather map may show clear skies, but it looks like there is mixed weather on the horizon.

Met Eireann sasy this morning will be a mix of cloud and sunny spells with well scattered, slow moving showers. Showers will become more frequent during the afternoon and some will be heavy with hail. They will become mainly confined to Leinster, Munster and east Ulster this evening. Highs of 10 to 14 degrees, in a light northerly or variable breeze.

Showers will become isolated tonight, allowing long, clear spells to develop in many areas. Cold and calm with lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees, with frost developing locally.

Sunday morning will start off mostly dry with sunny spells and isolated showers. Showers will become more frequent and occasionally heavy through the afternoon and it will become cloudier in all areas also. Highs of 11 to 14 degrees in a light westerly breeze.
