WATCH: New frontline patrol vehicles for border counties

The first nine of 16 new all-terrain frontline patrol vehicles have been allocated to border counties.

Assistant Commissioner Barry O’Brien of the North Western Region welcomed the recent delivery. “The allocation of these additional Frontline Terrain appropriate vehicles which enhance our operational capacity in maintaining high visibility and keeping people and communities safe.”

The first stations to receive delivery are Carrickmacross, Manorhamilion, Carrick-on-Shannon, Drumad, Letterkenny, Ballyshannon, Buncrana and Dundalk.
