Moher, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Brian died suddenly at his home.

James (Jemmy) Brennan

Watford, England and formerly of Drumberagh, Lisdoonan, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of James (Jemmy) Brennan, Watford, England and formerly of Drumberagh, Lisdoonan, Co. Monaghan Wednesday 5th May 2021 peacefully at Harefield Hospital, England. Predeceased by his parents Brian and Mary Brennan, brother Kevin and nephew Peter. Beloved brother of Brian (Australia), John (Drumberagh), Mary (Milton Keynes), Mena (Carrickatee). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends in Watford and Monaghan.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect of Government Guidelines, there will be no public wake.

James’ funeral cortège will leave Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross on Sunday morning at 9am travelling via Rockdaniel Road, the Ballybay Road (R180) turning for Drumberagh (L8180) to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan for Requiem Mass at 10am (limited to 50). Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Joe Powell

31 Cherry Park, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Joe Powell, 31 Cherry Park, Clones, Co. Monaghan, 18th May 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers, Patrick and Tom. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, sister Phil, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Teresa, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, from 3pm on Thursday, 20th May 2021, until 7.30pm. Removal on Friday, 21st May 2021, at 1.15pm to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, at 2pm for requiem Mass, followed by interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Clones. Joe's requiem Mass is private to family and friends and a maximum of 50 people at all times. Mass can be viewed on the following link: https//churchservicestv/sacredheartclones

Anyone wishing to pass on their condolences may do so along the route, by keeping socially distant at all times.
