It is with regret that we note the deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Teresa Mc Quillan (née Sweeney)

Cabra, Threemilehouse, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Teresa Mc Quillan suddenly at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son Richard. Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving family, her sisters and brothers, her grandchildren, extended family and large circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Teresa's remains will repose at Cabra, Threemilehouse for close family and friends visiting will be socially distances please until removal to St.Mary's Church Threemilehouse for funeral mass at 2pm on Saturday 5th June, followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House private please.

Colette McGeough (née Campbell)

Colleen Bawn Grove, Cornacassa, Monaghan

In the loving care of her family, nursing staff and Palliative Care Team at Cavan General Hospital. Reposing at her home until removal on Saturday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her husband Allen, children Stephen (Eadaoin), Andrew (Regina), Louise, Jane (Rachel), Rosemary (James) and Paraic (Lisa). Colette’s sisters Anna (Celbridge), Bernie (Galway), brother Kieran (Belfast), brother-in-law Donal and sister-in-law Helen, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and entire family circle.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul.

In line with the current Government and HSE guidelines Colette’s Funeral Mass and burial will be restricted to family. Colette’s funeral mass can be viewed at https://www.monaghan-rackwallace.ie/. House private, please.

Patrick (Pat) Mohan

Gulree, Tyholland, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Mohan, Gulree, Monaghan, Thursday 3rd June, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Ellen & James, brothers Canon Tom & Seamus and sisters Anna Mohan & Kathleen McCaffrey.

Lovingly remembered by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Helen Farrelly (Barry), Mary O'Shea (Matt), Aine & Nuala, grandson Ciarán, sister Celine Boylan, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Pat's remains will repose at his residence, private to family, friends & neighbours only (please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times).

Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 11am at St.Patrick's Church, Tyholland (limited to 50 family/friends only); https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-tyholland, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Mourners are welcome to pay their respects as Pat's funeral cortege travels from the family home to the church on Saturday morning via Fedoo Cross.
