Football stars Gearoid and Donna tie the knot

Wedding bells!

Today is a very special date for two of the best Cavan footballers of the last decade as Gearoid McKiernan and Donna English tied the knot.

Gearoid, a native of Swanlinbar who now lines out for Cavan Gaels, has been a star player for Cavan since 2011 while Arva woman Donna won an All-Ireland medal with Cavan ladies in 2013.

The pair were married in Arva and the wedding reception took place in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan.
