It is with regret that we note the deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Eamonn Boylan

Navan, Meath / Dublin / Cavan

The death has occurred of Eamonn Boylan, Navan, Co. Meath and formerly Clonliffe Road, Dublin and Clonoose, Cavan. Peacefully, in the care of the staff at The Mater Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his son Eugene, parents Eugene and Margaret. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife Mena, daughter Margaret, sons Eamonn and David, grandchildren Abigail, Charlie, Ava and Fiadh, son in law Mark, daughter in law Niamh, sisters Rose and Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, niece Michelle, nephews Willie, Alan and John, relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Ethna and her family for their love and care for Eamonn. Special mention for his two great pals, Mark Stokes and Liamo.

May Eamonn Rest In Peace.

Eamonn's cortege will leave his residence on Friday at 12.15 o clock to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan arriving at 1.30 (max 50 people).

In line with Government / HSE advice, social distancing to be observed at all times.

John Edward REA

Fivemiletown, Tyrone / Ballyconnell, Cavan

John Edward REA, Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone and formerly of Kildallon, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, 9th June, peacefully, in Omagh Palliative Care Unit after a long illness bravely borne. Very sadly missed by all the family.

Funeral cortege travelling via Belturbet, Ardlougher and the family home arriving at Kildallon Parish Church on Friday at 1pm for funeral service followed by private family cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan afterwards.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Omagh Palliative Care Unit for their gold standard care of John and his family in his final weeks and days.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers would be much appreciated to Omagh Palliative Care Unit c/o Clive Magee Funeral Directors or any family member.

Due to current guidelines the funeral service will be limited to 50 family members and close friends in the church please.

Sr. Joan (Ena) Smyth

Killybandrick, Redhills, Cavan

Sr. Joan (Ena) Smyth, Loreto Sisters, Kolkata, India and formerly Killybandrick, Redhills, Co. Cavan. Passed away, peacefully, on 8th June 2021, in the loving care of the Loreto Sisters and staff at Loreto Residence, Kolkata.

May She Rest in Peace

Predeceased by her sisters Sr. Maureen and Patsy & her brothers Donie and Sean. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Kathleen (Murray, Cavan), Anna (Somers, Newbridge), Evelyn (Collins, Derry), Bernadette (Killybandrick), her brother Joe and sister-in-law Pauline (Ballaghaderreen), her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, many friends and Loreto family around the world.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral will take place in Kolkata.

Povilas Liutkevicius

Corcummins, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Povilas Liutkevicius, Corcummins, Clones, Co. Monaghan, June 5th 2021 suddenly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his loving wife Dovile, sons Armandas and Joris, his parents Onute and Vidminas, brothers Rolandas and Donatas, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions Povila's Funeral Service will be limited to 50 people. Those who would like to attend but cannot do so may leave a message for the family in the condolence section below please. Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan this Thursday evening from 4.30 pm to 7.00pm. (Please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times). Removal leaving Mullen's Funeral Home this Friday at 11.00 to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for 12 noon Funeral Service, followed by Cremation.
