Dressed from head to toe in DT One

DT One Manager David Molloy is overjoyed with the response from customers since re-opening his doors.

The men's clothing store saw nine wedding fittings on the first Saturday of reopening, with this trend showing no signs of stopping.

“Weddings are kicking, that's the one thing I find,” David stated.

“People are coming to the point that they know it’s either going to be 50 or 100 and they’re fine with that.”

He detailed an extremely busy few days upon reopening where people were “panic buying” because they quite literally “had no clothes left".

He said casual wear is a big hit among customers.

“The casual gear has taken over obviously because that’s all people have been wearing for the last two years nearly... It's rocking.”

The store operated a 'click and deliver' service throughout the pandemic, however David stressed it was no substitute for meeting people in person.

“It worked but what we do is very personal,” David explained, adding the team knows 95% of their customers, with DT One’s distinctive touch “totally lost selling online".

“We know what they like, we know what they want, we know their sizes.

“People are of a completely different mindset now that they can physically walk into a shop and be served by somebody... Customers really missed that.”

“They are able to hold stuff before they buy, try it on and walk out the door with something that fits,” David detailed the hardships of online shopping where you may have to return items due to an incorrect fit.

DT One stock clothing for every occasion from a casual drink in the local to weddings.

“We stock footwear and everything you need from head to toe," he said, adding there is something for everybody.

He thanked his customers for their support and is looking forward to giving them the DT One experience again with plenty of helpful staff on hand to have you looking smart for every event.
