Dry but unsettled weather to come

Conditions will turn “cloudier from the west as the day goes on,” says Met Eireann, with patchy light rain or drizzle develop later in the evening.

Saturday will be “largely dry” day with sunny spells but with more unsettled weather expected to set in as the evening goes on.

Conditions will turn “cloudier from the west as the day goes on,” says Met Eireann, with patchy light rain or drizzle develop later in the evening.

With a heavy period of low pressure remaining situated close to Ireland, outbreaks of rain will extend across much of the country from the southeast as the night progresses.

“Lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees as easterly winds ease light to moderate,” predicts the national forecaster, who says to expect “thundery showers” or longer spells of rain across the country on Sunday.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with mostly moderate northeasterly winds.
