Christine O'Brien, 17th June 2021, suddenly, at her residence, Cornasaus, Mountain Lodge, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Predeceased by her husband James.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Seamus, Jenny, Christine and Bridie, sister Kathleen Anderson (Ballybofey), her adored grandchildren Darren, Paula, Donna, Abigail, Oisin and Christopher, great-grandchildren, Saoirse and Sennan, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains will be removed this Sunday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Carrickallen, Mountain Lodge, arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Suddenly. Predeceased by her husband Sonny and infant daughter Mary.

The death has taken place June 19th 2021 at Melmount Manor of Seamus Mc Guinness, 72 Melmount Road, Strabane and formerly of Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh.

Beloved husband of Jean, much loved father of Laura and Anita, dearly loved grandfather of Cathal, Niamh and James and brother of Patricia, Angela, Philip, Josephine, Geraldine and the late Aiden.

Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday (June 22nd) at 12.20p.m. For Requiem Mass in St Mary`s Church, Melmount at 1p.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sisters and family circle.

Maura Morgan (née Gilhooly)

Cabinteely, Dublin / Drumkeeran, Leitrim

Morgan (née Gilhooly) (Cabinteely, Dublin 18, late of Drumkeeran, Co. Leitrim) June 19th , 2021 (peacefully) in the kind care of all the staff of St Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, Maura, beloved wife of the late Parkes, loving mother of Tony and Barry.

Sadly missed by her sons, daughter-in-law Joan, grandchildren Eve, Chloe, Grace, Paddy, Charlotte and Phoebe, her sister-in-law Eithne, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government guidelines and in the hope of keeping our friends and family safe, Maura’s Funeral will take place privately on Wednesday June 23rd at 11am but can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/cabinteely. followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Maura’s Funeral Cortége is expected to pass by Johnstown Avenue after Mass at approx. 12.15pm.

Kathleen Gray (née Hannon)

Ballinlough, Dromone, Oldcastle, Meath

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Mullingar General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Tom and parents Mary & James. Kathleen is survived by her daughters Mary, Ann & Pauline, her five adored grandchildren Aaron, Rebecca, Martin, Eoghan & Sean, brothers Tony & John (Castlepollard) sister Francis, her sons in law Michael, William & Austin, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends & life long neighbours.

Removal on Sunday evening from Gibney's Funeral Home, Oldcastle, to St. Mary's Church, Moylough, arriving at 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Due to Government/HSE guidelines the funeral will be limited to 50 people only.

Sr. Mary Brophy

Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Kellistown, Carlow

The death has occurred of Sr. Mary Brophy (Dónal), St. Louis Convent, Carrickmacross and formerly Kellistown, Co. Carlow, on Saturday 19th June 2021 peacefully in her 101st year in the tender loving care of Castleross Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Jane, brothers Michael and Jimmy, sisters Sr. Lucina (Sisters of St. John of God), Josie, Patty and Kathleen.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother-in-law Noel, sister-in-law Harriet, nieces Janet, Liz, Susan and Mary, nephews Paul and Eoin, extended family, her St. Louis Community and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and in respect for Government Guidelines, there will be no public wake.

There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects on Monday morning as Sr. Mary’s funeral cortège will leave Iona House, Farney Street to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, which will be celebrated privately by her family.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

Peacefully, surrounded by family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Celia and son David.

Dearly loved father of Bernardine. Sadly missed by his loving daughter, brothers Brian (Carrickmacross) and Seán (Adare), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home in Ballincar from 3.00pm to 5.30pm on Sunday June 20th for family and close friends only.

Mass of the Resurrection at 10.00am on Monday, June 21st, in St. Columba’s Church, Rosses Point.
