Catherine (Catha) McIntyre

Skeagh, Bailieborough, Cavan / Clontarf, Dublin

The death has occurred of Catherine (Catha) McIntyre who passed away in her 96th year, peacefully on June 20th, 2021 in the loving care of the staff of The Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill, Dublin. Originally of Skeagh, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and then Howth Road, Clontarf, Dublin. Beloved daughter of the late Alice and Francis, she is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, John and Mary (Skeagh), Elizabeth (Betty) (Kennedy, Santry, Dublin) and Peter Francis (Pete) (Rathfarnham, Dublin). She will be sadly missed by her sister Alice, her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Catherine’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Sybil Hill which became Catherine’s loving home for the past number of years.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Removal Tuesday evening from Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan at 6.30pm to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Knockbride East at 7pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Due to current HSE and government guidelines Catherine"s funeral will be private to family. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those who are standing along the funeral procession.

Molly Rudden (née Healy)

Cordegan, Stradone, Cavan / Rosses Point, Sligo

Suddenly. Predeceased by her husband Sonny and infant daughter Mary. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken family Fionnuala, Patricia, Bernard and Yvonne, grandchildren Kate, Tom, Jack, Lara, Alanna, Kiera, Luke, Cian, Emma and Ciara, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home tomorrow, Tuesday, for family, neighbours and close friends. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In line with current guidelines, Molly's Funeral Mass is restricted to 50 people. It can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/cavan (select Laragh).

Mary Isabell (Bella) Craig (née Duffy)

Greenan's Cross, Newbliss, MonaghaP

peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Reposing at her residence from 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday (22/06/2021).

Predeceased by her husband Paddy and her sister Ann.

Sadly missed by her sons Sean and Páraic, daughters in law Yulanda and Cathryna, grandchildren Darryl, Ryan, Oisin and Megan, brothers Michael and Charlie, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal on Thursday (24/06/2021) at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Livinus Church, Killeevan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret McAree (née Wilson)

Killabough, Tydavnet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Margaret McAree (nee Wilson), Killabough, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, Sunday 20th June, peacefully, at Drumbear Nursing Home, Monaghan surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband James. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary & son Raymond (Louise), grandchildren Conor & Aoibheann, brother Mick Wilson, sister Patricia McCabe, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Margaret's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80, on Monday from 6pm - 8pm. Margaret’s remains will leave her son Raymond’s residence on Tuesday morning, to arrive at St. Dympna’s Church, Tydavnet, for Funeral Mass at 11am (limited to 50 mourners only). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on ‘Tydavnet Parish RC Churches’ Facebook page.

House private, please. You are welcome to pay your respects as Margaret’s funeral cortège travels to the church on Tuesday morning (please adhere to social distancing guidelines).

Ellen (Ellie) McKenna

Aidken Cappagh, Ballinode, Monaghan

Ellen (Ellie) McKenna, Aidken Cappagh, Ballinode, Co Monaghan, 20th June, 2021, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Xavier, son Aidan and daughter Frances, RIP.

Sadly missed by her children Kay (Kathleen) Byrne, Eileen Downey, Agatha Stacey, Marita Hopkinson, Monica Hendry, Xavier, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and family circle.

Ellen’s remains are reposing at her family home and wake and funeral will be in keeping with HSE / government guidelines.

Removal on Wednesday 23rd June at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Urbleshanney. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Patient Comfort Fund, St Mary’s Hospital, Castleblaney c/o the family.

Michael (Mick) MCMANUS

Dunmore, Avenue Road, Dundalk, Louth / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Michael (Mick) McManus. Monday 21st June 2021. Peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Caulfield) and dear dad of Brian, Michael, Anne and Catherine. Predeceased by his parents Benny and Margaret (late of Grigg, Castleblayney), sister Sr. Joan, brother in-law Pat Mohan, Mick will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Brian, sisters Patricia, Sr. Mary and Margaret, son in-law Martin Murphy, daughter in-law Amanda, Brian's partner Angela, his cherished grandchildren Jenny, Rebecca, Aiden, Sean, Roslyn and Fionn, brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours.

May He Rest In Peace.

Due to on going restrictions on funeral ceremonies, Mick's funeral will be private for family and close friends with church numbers limited.

Removal from the family residence on Thursday morning at 10.40am driving to the Church of The Holy Family arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery Dundalk.
