Since reopening on March 1, Cabra Central National School has been delighted to teach and liaise with pupils in the classroom environment once again.

"While it has been a strange few months with Covid-19 restrictions, the children have adapted very well and we are so proud of them," said principal Janine O'Neill.

"This month we are enjoying the good weather and are participating in outings to the Forest Park, which is on our doorstep and Sports Day. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the local businesses in Kingscourt the very best of luck with their own reopening," she added.

The school caters for around 50 pupils. It has three mainstream teachers and one Special Education post.
