In safe hands at MacManus’s

It is great to see people out and about again, according to Pharmacist, John MacManus. As an essential service, MacManus Pharmacy remained open throughout lockdown to provide essential medicines.

John says it’s great to see other traders back open for business.

He stressed that it is important for people’s mental health to get out and socialise and welcomed the return of sport in this regard, particularly for young people.

“I would like to commiserate with all the families who lost loved ones during Covid. I lost my own mother and we were lucky we were all in the country. People lost loved ones and they were in England and America and could not come home,” said John.

“People found it difficult and we looked after them as best we could. The Government’s budget on mental health is greatly decreased and has to be seriously looked at now,” he added.
