Quite dull to start today, with lingering mist and fog, according to Met Eireann. But it will gradually lift through this morning, with spells of sunshine developing for most by afternoon.

Highest temperatures of 19 to 21 degrees generally, but cooler under cloud cover in northern and northwestern coastal counties with temperatures there of 16 to 19 degrees in a light to moderate northerly breeze.
