Funds raised will go towards the resumption of C.A.P.S. (Cavan Autism Parents Support) camps and activities due to start back up from July, as well as provide supports available through S.N.A.P. (Special Needs Active Parents) in Monaghan and resources for C.A.E.T.C. (Cavan Autism Education & Training Centre).

C.A.E.T.C, the new autism specific education and training centre, recently opened its doors at Latt, and spokesperson for CAPS, Trina Boylan said: “We are very proud of Conor Walsh for participating in this event, he has been a member of C.A.P.S./S.N.A.P. for a number of years.”

She added by thanking everyone who has supported the local charities and all who have donated so far. “Your kindness and generosity is overwhelming and we are truly filled with gratitude to be part of such a wonderful community.”
